Kathleen has been the Director of Sales at Homeplace of New Bern for 1 1/2 years. Before moving to New Bern 2 years ago, she was a Realtor in Ohio. Kathleen and her husband, Tony, live in Fairfield Harbour and have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.

Jerry has been the Director of Health Care Services at Homeplace of New Bern for one month, however he worked here previously for 5 years. Jerry left to become an Administrator at another facility and also worked at Carteret Hospital. He has been in the health services field for 37 years. Jerry has lived in the New Bern / Carteret Area since 1982.

Jettie has been the Director of Memory Care at Homeplace of New Bern for 5 years. She has 2 children -- one son and one daughter.

Melanie has been the Director of Activities at Homeplace of New Bern and McCarthy Court for 4 years. She is a Licensed Recreation Therapist Assistant and certified through the North Carolina Activity Professional Association. Melanie has worked in the healthcare field for 25 years. She lives with her husband, Joe, in Havelock with their 2 sons.

Wanda has been Director of Food & Beverage at Homeplace of New Bern and McCarthy Court for 1 1/2 years. She has been a Certified Dietary Manager / Certified Food Protection Professional for 9 years. Wanda holds an Associates Degree in Culinary Management and has worked in the food service industry for 16 years. She and her husband, Frank, have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.

Tom has been the Director of Maintenance at Homeplace of New Bern and McCarthy Court for 7 years. He previously worked in an area nursing home in maintenance. Tom has lived in New Bern since 1999 and has 2 sons and 3 grandchildren.
